Don’t forget ‘sins’ of ‘ancestors’ before ‘shedding crocodile tears’: CM to oppn

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann criticized opposition leaders for misleading the people on the Satluj Yamuna Link canal issue. He accused them of engaging in “theatricals” and reminded them of the sins committed by their ancestors in agreeing to the construction of the canal. The opposition leaders have been attacking the Mann government over the SYL issue, but Mann urged them to come for an open debate on Punjab’s issues and bring the settlement papers signed by their parents. He also assured that Punjab’s water will be preserved by all means.
