Earthquake shakes Pakistan; tremors felt in capital Islamabad

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake, originating in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region, shook parts of Pakistan, including Islamabad, on Wednesday morning. The tremors, felt across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and Punjab, prompted residents to evacuate their homes. No casualties have been reported.
