Epilepsy is not incurable, can’t be ground for divorce: HC

The Nagpur bench of the Bombay high court has ruled that being epileptic does not amount to cruelty and is not a valid ground for divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act. The court dismissed a plea by a man seeking divorce from his wife, who he claimed was mentally unsound due to epilepsy.
