Excise case: ED summons Kejri as SC quashes Sisodia’s bail plea

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the ongoing probe into the liquor scam. The ED had previously stated that it intended to investigate the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a beneficiary of the bribes from the liquor scam. Kejriwal’s personal assistant and close aides have already been questioned by the agency. The ED has also brought on record Kejriwal’s involvement in the excise policy scam. The CM is expected to appear before the ED on November 2.
