Fukushima nuclear plant starts second release of treated radioactive wastewater into the sea

Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant has begun releasing a second batch of treated radioactive wastewater into the sea. The first round of discharges ended smoothly, but the releases have been strongly opposed by fishing groups and neighboring countries like South Korea and China.
