Gandhi’s global stamp alive with Hyderabad curator

Syed Asghar Hussaini, a philatelist from Hyderabad, has amassed a collection of over 300 stamps from more than 120 countries, all dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. The collection includes stamps from countries like the United States, Congo, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Iran, and Mexico. Hussaini’s collection also features stamps issued during Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary in 2019 by countries such as France, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, and Vietnam. He also possesses stamps featuring joint issues of Gandhi with other iconic figures like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr.
