Give NewsClick founder copy of FIR, orders court

A Delhi court has ordered that a copy of the FIR be given to NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha and HR head Amit Chakravarty in the UAPA case registered against them. The court’s decision came after the Delhi police special cell opposed the pleas. Purkayastha and Chakravarty were arrested following allegations that NewsClick had received money for pro-China propaganda. They were remanded in seven days’ police custody.
