Govt staffers joining strike tomorrow to lose a day’s pay

Government treats unauthorised absence of state employees participating in one-day strike as dies non, reducing pay. Employees demand release of arrears, restoration of leave surrender, pay revision dues, statutory pension system, rectification of Medisep anomalies, appointment of 12th pay commission. Government fails to provide benefits for 33 months, including dearness allowance and Medisep scheme.
