Grieving Samdev shatters record

Eight days after his father’s tragic demise, swimmer Mongam Theerdhu Samdev honored his father’s memory with a record-breaking performance. At the Kerala State Schools’ Sports Meet, Samdev clocked 4:16.25 seconds in the junior boys’ 400m freestyle, surpassing his own previous record. Despite the emotional turmoil, Samdev showcased resilience and determination, dedicating his victory to his late father.
