Gujarat: 24k applied for Gyan Sahayak Recruitment 2023 in primary schools

As per the state education department data, a total of 24,622 candidates have applied for Gyan Sahayak positions, which are contractual teaching roles in primary schools in Gujarat. Banaskantha district recorded the highest number of applications at 2,112, followed by Mehsana, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Rajkot. The department extended the application deadline to September 17, and during this period, about 9,000 applications were received. Additionally, 19,050 applicants applied for Gyan Sahayak positions in secondary schools, reflecting a growing interest in educational roles in the state.
