Gujarat: 8-year-old gang-raped, killed by father’s friends

An eight-year-old girl in Rajkot, Gujarat was allegedly gang-raped and killed by three married men who feared she would expose their crime. The accused, who knew the girl’s father, were arrested after police tracked down one of them using CCTV footage. The girl’s body was found near a railway yard. The suspects lured her to an isolated place, gagged her, and took turns raping her before killing her by smashing her head with a stone. The motive behind the crime was the fear of her revealing their actions to her father.
