Gujarat: Trolley bag nails man who killed girlfriend, burned body

The burnt remains of a trolley bag helped police solve a murder case in Rajkot, Gujarat. The half-burnt body of a woman was found near Paddhari village on October 9. The forensic analysis and parallel investigation led police to the alleged killer, Mehul Chotaliya, who was the woman’s live-in partner. Chotaliya strangled the woman after a fight between them, and then kept her body in his house for two days before disposing of it by burning it inside a trolley bag. Chotaliya has previous criminal cases against him.
