Gurgaon: Man offers to promote Google page of physiotherapist, cons his patients

A physiotherapist in Gurgaon was cheated by a man who claimed to be an acquaintance of one of his friends. The man offered to promote the physiotherapist’s Google Business page and asked for an initial payment of Rs 15,000. However, after receiving Rs 5,000, the man blocked the physiotherapist’s existing page and created a new one with the victim’s details. Patients who made online payments for appointments were directed to the imposter’s page, resulting in financial loss for the physiotherapist. The police are investigating the case and trying to locate the accused.
