Hamas deployed specialised units to attack Israel, says source

Hamas deployed around 1,000 fighters in specialized units to carry out a major attack on Israel, according to a source close to the group. The units included a missile unit that fired rockets to create confusion and cover, an airborne unit that used hang gliders and paragliders to secure the border, an elite commando ground unit that breached the fortified Gaza fence, a drone unit for surveillance, and an intelligence unit to monitor Israeli soldiers.
