High rainfall alert in TN: CM tells IT cos to allow WFH on these dates

The Tamil Nadu government declared holidays for schools and colleges in several districts and issued work-from-home advisories due to heavy rainfall predicted by the IMD. Extensive precautionary measures are in place as the northeast monsoon is expected to set in by mid-October.
