IBM-owned Redhat to cut jobs, CEO sends company-wide email

IBM-owned open source solution provider Red Hat is the latest IT company to announce job cuts. The company will lay off nearly 4 percent of its global workforce, or about 760 employees. The North Carolina-based software company has about 19,000 employees across the world.
