ICAI to seek review of NFRA move on audit standards

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is urging the government to reconsider recent amendments to auditing standards. The ICAI argues that directly adopting global standards isn’t suitable for India and suggests alternative solutions to address auditor responsibility concerns.
