In Madhya Pradesh forest, a booth for 44, and it’s a family matter

To save a village in Madhya Pradesh from a long trek to the nearest polling booth, the Election Commission has created the state’s smallest polling booth for 44 voters who are all relatives. The village, Sonewani, is located in a Maoist-affected region and previously required a 20km walk to the nearest booth.
