Former South African captain AB de Villiers believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore are unlikely to acquire Rishabh Pant in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction due to his high expected price tag. De Villiers feels that Punjab Kings might make a strong bid for Pant given his close relationship with coach Ricky Ponting.
