India aging rapidly, 60+ will make up 15% of population by 2036: UN

According to a new UN report, India is experiencing a rapid increase in its elderly population, while the number of individuals below 15 is declining. By 2046, the number of elderly individuals in India will surpass the number of children aged 0-14.
