India hits out at interference by Canada officials

The Indian government has expressed concerns over the interference of Canadian diplomats in India’s internal matters. It has requested parity in diplomatic presence between the two nations and expects Canada to reduce the number of its diplomats in India. However, India has not set a specific deadline for this reduction. India also highlighted its concerns about the safety of Indian diplomats and diplomatic premises in Canada, as well as the delay in processing visas for Indian nationals.
