India, Italy ink agreement to boost defence cooperation

India and Italy have signed an agreement to promote cooperation in defense, security, maritime awareness, R&D, information-sharing, and industrial collaboration. The two countries discussed defense-industrial cooperation, including joint development and interactions between Indian startups and Italian defense companies. Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a tour of Italy and France to expand bilateral strategic engagements.
