India needs stronger armed forces to become developed nation by 2047: Rajnath Singh

India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has emphasized the need for stronger armed forces with modern equipment in order for India to become a developed nation by 2047. He stressed the importance of effective utilization of financial resources and suggested the creation of an in-house committee to research and study market forces. Singh also launched several digital initiatives of the Defence Accounts Department, including an integrated defence finance dashboard.
