India ready for bigger role in clean energy supply chains: FM

India’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, has stated that India is well positioned to strengthen and diversify supply chains for clean energy products, which are currently dominated by China. India is ready to play a bigger role in the supply chains of clean energy products and has already announced the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme in some areas. India is also keen to engage with the IMF to facilitate domestic resource mobilization and work with developing countries.
