Indians second biggest overseas visitors to the US this summer

Despite long wait times for visa interviews and high airfares, Indians were the second largest group of overseas visitors to the United States this summer, according to the US commerce department’s National Travel and Tourism Office. Canada was the largest source of visitors, followed by the UK, India, Germany, and France. However, industry insiders say the number of Indian visitors could have been higher if not for visa delays. The wait time for B1/B2 visitor visas in India is still around 1.5 years.
