India’s solar tech venture finalist in Prince William’s Earthshot Prize 2023

S4S Technologies, a solar-powered tech venture in India, has been named as a finalist for the GBP 1 million 2023 Earthshot Prize. The company is recognized for its work in tackling food waste, rural poverty, and gender inequality by providing solar-powered conduction dryers and food processing equipment to help smallholder female farmers preserve and market surplus produce. S4S connects commercial buyers to these products and returns most of the profits to the farmers.
