“Never give up. Sacrifice yourself in what you do and work hard. If you go for an audition and they reject you, then don’t feel bad. It happens all the time. Just keep your head up, smile, work again, and never give up,” said Francesca Dario, Artistic Director- Oliva Contemporary Dance Project company, when we asked her about her tips for people aspiring to become professional dancers. A performer and choreographer from Italy, Francesca was in India recently along with Italian artistes Nunzio Perricone and Luca Contini for their contemporary dance performance ‘Four Seasons’.
