Jaishankar ‘secretly’ met Canadian EAM: Report

The downsizing of Canadian missions in India is not complete yet with both countries still discussing the modalities of the exercise and Ottawa apparently not keen on ensuring parity in diplomatic presence that New Delhi is seeking. The Indian government didn’t deny reports on Wednesday from Canada that some of its diplomats may have overstayed, despite New Delhi threatening to revoke their diplomatic immunity.
