JD(S) Karnataka chief signals split, says no to BJP tie-up

The Karnataka unit president of the Janata Dal (Secular) party, CM Ibrahim, has stated that the party will not join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, defying the decision of party supremo H D Deve Gowda. Ibrahim claimed that his faction is the original JD(S) and appealed to Gowda not to give consent to the alliance with the BJP.
