Jessica Pegula withdraws from WTA Finals

Jessica Pegula has withdrawn from the WTA Finals in Riyadh due to a left knee injury. The American, last year’s runner-up, lost her first two matches and was unable to progress to the semi-finals. World number nine Daria Kasatkina will replace Pegula and face defending champion Iga Swiatek in the final round-robin match.
