Kannada or English at exams? Karnataka universities to allow both, even a mix of both

The Karnataka State Higher Education Council unanimously resolved to allow students to write in the language they prefer in line with the National Education Policy’s concept of higher education being available in regional language. Till now, students could write the paper only in Kannada or in English. This change was earlier introduced in polytechnic colleges and was widely welcomed.
