Karnataka: Farmers pool funds to build floating bridge and recreate history

​​​​The government has neglected this demand for 25 years as it falls in the inundation area. They mobilised funds of Rs 25 lakh and worked as labourers on a rotation basis for two months. The bridge is expected to be ready by the second week of October.
