Karnataka: Revenue department papers show 40 houses standing on drains in flooded layout

Encroachments of stormwater drains (SWDs) in Rainbow Drive Layout, off Sarjapur Road, are leading to flooding, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials said. According to documents from the revenue department, about 40 houses have come up on the drains in the 35-acre layout.
