Kolkata Metro introduces paper-based QR Code ticketing system

Kolkata Metro has launched a paper-based QR Code ticketing system in an effort to modernize its ticketing process. The trial run of this system was initiated at Sealdah Metro station on the East-West Corridor. Saumitra Biswas, principal operations manager of Metro Railway, inaugurated the new system.
