Learning curve for Vithya, Afsal

Indian athletes Mohammed Afsal, Vithya Ramraj, and Praveen Chitharavel had disappointing performances at the Hangzhou Games. Ramraj settled for bronze in the women’s 400m hurdles after failing to match her previous record-breaking time. Chitharavel and Abdulla Aboobacker fell short in the men’s triple jump, with Chitharavel only managing a high of 16.68m. Afsal provided a silver lining with a second-place finish in the men’s middle distance race, narrowly missing out on gold to Saudi Arabia’s Essa Kzwani.
