LS Ethics Committee calls TMC MP Mahua Moitra on Oct 31

The Lok Sabha Ethics Committee has summoned TMC MP Mahua Moitra on October 31 regarding the cash-for-query allegations against her. The committee plans to seek assistance from the home and IT ministries in their investigation. Earlier, lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai and BJP leader Nishikant Dubey provided their statements to the Ethics Committee. BJP member Nishikant Dubey had filed a complaint, alleging that Mahua Moitra accepted bribes to target the Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Moitra has denied these allegations and accused the Adani Group of being behind the charges.
