Man gets day’s jail for rash driving in 17-yr-old case

The convict was driving a tractor-trolley on April 20, 2006, when he hit a man identified as Furkan Ahmed in Haridwar’s Manglaur area. Babbu alias Balbir was sentenced to a day’s imprisonment for rash and negligent driving in the 17-year-old case in which a person died. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on him.
