Manipur internet ban to be lifted from today, says CM

The Manipur government on Friday asked the people in possession of “illegal weapons” to surrender them within 15 days or face “comprehensive search operations by security forces”. The chief minister’s office issued a statement in this regard, which added that the government “is willing to take a considerate view of the persons submitting such illegal weapons within 15 days”.
