Manipur: Kuki militants erasing Meitei villages, SC told

A Manipur NGO, the Global Meitei Foundation, has urgently requested the Supreme Court’s intervention in disarming Kuki militants to prevent potential harm to the Meitei population living near the hill districts. They provided evidence, including photographs, of burnt Meitei settlements being erased using bulldozers and earth movers during ethnic violence.
