Manipur tribal areas observe bandh, seek release of 4 arrested

Several tribal organizations in Manipur’s Churachandpur called for a bandh in protest against the arrest of four individuals in connection with the disappearance and alleged killing of two Imphal students. The protesters are also demanding the release of another individual arrested on allegations of a transnational conspiracy. The CBI has been granted five-day custody of the suspects.
