Mayawati welcomes announcement of election schedule by EC

BSP national president Mayawati has welcomed the announcement of assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram. She emphasized the need for the Election Commission to prevent the misuse of government machinery, money, and muscle power during the elections, and ensure fair elections for the future of democracy. Mayawati also called for a ban on ruling parties making false promises and strict action against casteist and communal violence. The BSP is contesting in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana through alliances with regional parties or independently.
