The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is considering bringing fresh leadership in Rajasthan ahead of the assembly elections next month. Jaipur Rural MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants Rajasthan to become a partner in his development mission. The party has also indicated that it will not project any chief ministerial faces and that the lotus symbol will be its face in the elections. Vasundhara Raje, a senior leader in the state, is facing pressure from her loyalists who were left out of the BJP’s first list.
