Met dept’s temp outlook indicates warm October for Maharashtra

Maharashtra is expected to experience above-normal temperatures in October, according to a temperature outlook released by the IMD. While most parts of the country can expect normal to above-normal maximum temperatures, some areas in northeast India may have normal minimum temperatures. Eastern coastal parts, northeastern states, east-central regions, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and northwest India have higher probabilities of above-normal temperatures. Although Maharashtra’s temperatures are predicted to be moderate, there may be good rainfall in the southern parts of the state, leading to cloudy skies and a rise in day temperatures. El Nino is expected to prevail until the first quarter of 2024, with a peak in December this year.
