‘Mitigating measures’ help IndiGo expand network amid snag saga

IndiGo, the world’s largest Airbus A320 family customer, is facing challenges with Pratt & Whitey (PW) engines as the troubles continue. PW has warned that 600-700 engines will need to be checked globally over the next three years. IndiGo is waiting to hear from PW on the number of engines that will need to be examined and is exploring alternate measures to augment capacity.
