MLA invested ‘crime proceeds’ in acquiring properties: ED

The Enforcement Directorate has claimed that its investigation into Amanatullah Khan, an AAP MLA from Okhla, has revealed that he allegedly acquired a significant amount of money through criminal activities and used it to purchase properties in Delhi in the names of his associates. The agency conducted searches on Khan’s premises and recovered documents and other incriminating evidence. The case is based on an FIR registered by the CBI, and three other FIRs have been registered against Khan by the Delhi police. The investigation into money laundering is ongoing.
