MP mantri & Scindia aide booked for pledging `25L to manager of ‘best’ booth

The Congress party has demanded the dismissal of Madhya Pradesh minister Govind Singh Rajput, who has been booked for violating the poll code by allegedly promising Rs 25 lakh to the booth that gives him the most votes. The party claims that this case is indicative of corruption within the BJP government. Congress spokesperson Sobha Oza highlighted a viral video of senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya making similar promises in his constituency. The Congress party also questioned the source of the large amount of money being offered by Rajput.
