Multiplex Association of India sets October 13 date for National Cinema Day

The Multiplex Association of India has announced that National Cinema Day will take place on October 13th. Movie enthusiasts will be charged only Rs 99 per admission at cinema halls across the country. Over 4,000 screens at multiplexes including PVR INOX, Cinepolis, Miraj, and Delite will participate in the celebrations. Cinegoers can watch any show of any film on October 13th for Rs 99, excluding recliner and premium formats. Last year, National Cinema Day saw the highest ever single-day admissions of 6.5 million.
