Nasa ready for OSIRIS-REx asteroid-sample return: When and where to watch

NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft will return to Earth this weekend, bringing back a sample collected from asteroid Bennu. This is the first time NASA has attempted to collect material from an asteroid and bring it home. The spacecraft will release the sample capsule, which will land in the Utah desert on Sunday. Afterward, the spacecraft will be renamed OSIRIS-APEX and begin a new mission to study the near-Earth asteroid Apophis.
