Nasa’s Osiris-Rex capsule on course to deliver first asteroid samples to Earth

NASA’s Osiris-Rex spacecraft has released its first asteroid samples, which are now heading towards Earth and expected to land in the Utah desert. The samples, collected from the carbon-rich asteroid Bennu, are anticipated to provide valuable insights into the early days of our solar system and the formation of Earth. NASA’s recovery operation involves helicopters and a temporary clean room, with the samples scheduled to be flown to a laboratory in Houston for further analysis.
