New Zealand PM tests Covid-positive two weeks before election

New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has tested positive for COVID-19, just two weeks before the general election. He will isolate and work remotely while continuing engagements via Zoom. Labour, his party, has been falling in the polls, with the National party leading. Hipkins will isolate for five days or until he tests negative. Deputy Prime Minister Carmel Sepuloni will stand in for him at a church service.
